Pesos and Sense
I saw some posted ads on Facebook, some blog post about Pesos and Sense. After confirmed it by checking it out on the Citiseconline website and watching the pilot episode. It is good to know that there is a good show that can help and teach every Filipino about Personal Finances.

The show is about personal finance that discusses about inflation, stock market, mutual funds, insurance and many more. This will play a big role in our advocacy to financially educate every Filipino.

It is a 30 minute show in GMA7 News TV (Channel 11) 8:30 to 9:00 am aired every Saturday and I was surprised that their Pesos and Sense pilot episode, 03 September 2011, featured my mentor, author, entrepreneur and investor Bo Sanchez. 

Bo Sanchez discussed the winning formula, 10-20-70 concept in which for the 100% of your income, you give 10% to the Lord/Church, then pay yourself first by saving and investing 20% and living within the 70%. 

For example, you earned Php. 20,000 for the month, you tithe Php. 2,000 (10%) and save/invest Php. 4,000 (20%) then live within Php. 14,000. Lastly, he also tackled about our wrong beliefs for money in which greatly affects our financial life.

On the other hand, CitisecOnline told the public that you don’t need to have a lot of money to start investing in the Stock Market. In fact, with only Php. 5,000.00 you can start investing in the Stock Market. Then they showed how to open an online account with them and invest in the stock market even at home via online.
