Single person has more money than married person, is it true?
Last month I go for vacation to relax and refresh myself from long and busy work abroad. When I got home, I meet my friends, my relatives both on my father and mother side. They asking for a presence or a gift ("pasalubong") like chocolate, soap, cigarette etc. While other is just want to drink imported wine I bought in duty free.
I really miss drinking wine together with my friends. There's a lot of jokes, news and story to tell that you might think no more end while drinking. When the spirit of wine starting to effect. More issues, topic and story are being discussed.
One topic and issues caught my attentions when one of my friend say that he has no savings compare to me because he is married man. I wondering why he said like that since both of us have a job and in fact he's salary is 20% higher compare to me. So I ask him why he has no savings?
He said, I'm a family man with two children and has a many loan, bill and a house rent that must be pay every month. Unlike you which has less expenses. I said no, civil status have nothing to do or there is no connection to our financial status although married status pay less tax compare to single status but for me it is depend on ourselves on how we handle, manage and prioritize our expenses in order to saves more money for the future.
We cannot save money if we spend more than what we earn and most probably you will fall to debt if you pursue this kind of lifestyle. In the case of my friend, he spend more than what he earn the reason why he has no savings and not because he is married man.
How about you do believe single person has more money than married man?
